With over 12 years experience working in local government in both planning policy and development management, I am very well placed to ‘slot’ into existing teams at busy periods or where there may be temporary staff shortages. Key skills which I have in this area of work:
- Capable of dealing with a wide range planning applications including; housing, retail, education, renewable energy, and heritage
- Led on a number of policy documents at a strategic level including a wide range of statutory development plan documents, Supplementary Planning Documents, evidence base documents
- Developed strong networks with other built environment professionals including; internal departments such as property services, regeneration, parks/open space and external consultees; environment agency, highways, infrastructure providers, English heritage
